Our Process: Start to Finish

The decision to incorporate a custom designed kitchen into your new or existing home represents an exciting and significant opportunity. Imagining and then incorporating a custom kitchen demonstrates that elegance, functionality, and personalization are important to you. As a leader in the industry, Bucks County Cabinetry and Design is ready to make this exciting process both seamless and gratifying. Our process is straightforward, and we garner a professional and highly skilled team that’s ready to work with you to ensure that you will be absolutely delighted with the results.

There are five distinct components within our collaborative process – each is interwoven and connected to the others – all under the guise of ensuring the highest quality, stellar customer service and your complete satisfaction.

Step 1: Consultation

Perhaps you already have a well-formed vision of your new kitchen – or perhaps you are having a difficult time deciding what it should look like, how it might function, and what amenities to incorporate. Either of these starting points – or anywhere on the spectrum between them – is perfectly acceptable and will enable Bucks County Cabinetry and Design to begin the important consultation process. Our team excels at working with valued clients on the exciting journey leading to an elegantly designed, constructed, and appointed kitchen.

Step 2: Design

A professional kitchen designer will visit your home to review the dimensions of your existing kitchen so that a high-end design can be pursued that will become uniquely yours. (If applicable, we will also work collaboratively with your architect or contractor to ensure that all parties and schedules are carefully coordinated.) During this part of the process, we will learn about your design style/preferences, and we will introduce you to numerous accoutrements that can be incorporated into your customized kitchen design to ensure personalization, functionality, and pride.

As the design process moves forward, we will show you your new kitchen’s floor plan, layout, cabinets, and other options via our professionally created and computer-generated 3D renderings. This approach and functionality ensure that you will be completely satisfied with all aspects of your evolving custom kitchen design.

Step 3: Material Selection

As the design of your custom kitchen is finalized, we will work with you to determine which materials to incorporate. This will enable you to further your unique design in ways that will make your kitchen both sophisticated and elegant. The parameters around material selection are truly boundless. We will introduce you to products and finishes that range from multiple wood options to distinctive high-end veneers and metals, as well as door styles and inserts that incorporate stylistic features (glass, stainless and other metals, etc.) that can tie your kitchen’s design to other parts of your home. Various crown and dental moldings, cabinet hardware pulls, and lighting will also be a part of the material selection process. You can be assured that our design team will assist you every step of the way as we create your prestigious dream kitchen.

Step 4: Construction

Superior quality custom kitchen cabinetry does not occur without highly talented craftsmen working in facilities that are modernized and fully equipped with the best mill working machinery in the industry. The Bucks County Cabinetry and Design team and our facilities are the leaders in each of these critical areas.

We utilize the highest quality craftsmanship as your cabinets are milled, assembled, and finished in our Doylestown, PA facility. Our construction team is led by persons who are designated as “master” craftsmen, and for good reason: their cabinet making talents are at the absolute highest level in the industry.

Step 5: Installation and Follow Through

After your custom kitchen cabinets are constructed at our Doylestown, PA site, our expert team will schedule the installation. The majority of construction and assembly occurs at our architectural Mill Shop. Therefore, when our customer-focused installation team arrives at your home, inconveniences to you and your family will be greatly minimized. When the team has concluded their “white glove” installation process, a final walkthrough will occur so that you are fully oriented to your new kitchen and its luxurious amenities. The installation process is not considered to be “final” until you are entirely satisfied. Additionally, a member of our team will contact you several weeks after the conclusion of our work to ensure that you continue to be completely satisfied with your new custom kitchen.
