Our gallery provides a glimpse of some of our recent projects.  Beyond the designs and finishes that are displayed, we are prepared to introduce any of the newest design trends that are emerging into your custom design.  Here are a few examples of what our research is telling us about 2023 kitchen design trends:

Enlarged or Double Islands

The kitchen is the heartbeat of the home for many families, but there never seems to be enough space at the all-important island!  A growing trend that will continue into 2023 is to incorporate either an oversized island, or two separate islands into kitchen designs.  By adding island space, homework, family conversations, and morning cups of coffee can all occur simultaneously and comfortably.  Additionally, charging stations for computers and cell phones and additional cabinet space can easily be incorporated.  Some islands are even large enough for the family to gather at mealtimes. Here is a recent example of a double-island kitchen that our team custom built for a valued client, and an example of an oversized island that successfully accommodated a client’s needs.

Wine Displays

Instead of hiding wine collections in storage cellars or other out of the way locations, homeowners are now showcasing their wine collections – essentially as decorative or artistic pieces. Wall-mounted and custom-framed displays can be built into the living room, den/office, or even the kitchen. Bucks County Cabinetry and Design is ready to work with you to design and custom build your elegant wine display!

Bold Marble

Marble countertops no longer need to be designed to “blend in” with the rest of the kitchen. Opting for a burst of color or unique and elaborate veining style – or both – is a growing trend in today’s kitchen designs. Additionally, using slabs of marble to connect countertops to ceilings is an emerging and bold trend.

Color!

Introducing bold color splashes into the kitchen is a style choice that many designers are promoting for 2023.  Painting an accent wall or an island with a vibrant color and mixing metals across kitchen finishes (faucets, drawer pulls, trim, etc.) are specific ways to introduce alternative and visually pleasing color pallets into a design.

Creative Backsplash Choices

Adding color or design patterns to the backsplash can add vibrancy to the kitchen – particularly if the cabinet color choices are white or neutral. The contrast provided with a backsplash color or pattern that deviates from the countertop enables the homeowner to demonstrate their unique decorative style.

Coffee Stations Beyond the Kitchen

While elegantly appointed coffee stations will continue to have a place in kitchen designs in 2023, we are also seeing hidden, as well as prominently displayed, coffee centers in home offices, primary or guest bedroom suites and in gathering spaces such as family rooms and home theaters. Our skilled team is ready to design, construct and install coffee stations in any location of your home.
