Bucks County Cabinetry and Design, located in Doylestown, PA, is a preeminent presence in the millwork and custom cabinet industry. Although “custom cabinetry” typically evokes thoughts associated with kitchen projects, our company – the designers, millworkers/master craftsmen, and installation team – are all highly skilled and experienced with adding elegance to all areas of the home. Architectural Millwork Projects
- Aside from adding elegantly appointed millwork features to numerous spaces within our client’s homes, we incorporated the contemporary design element “versatility” into many of our 2022 projects. Indeed, versatility within certain areas of the home is important to many clients. A recent Murphy bed project is a prime example: when folded into the wall, the home office is greatly enhanced by the millwork wood appearance; however, when the bed is lowered from the wall, the office is transformed into a well-appointed and beautiful spare bedroom for important events such as hosting holiday guests or accommodating family gatherings. Custom Kitchen Projects
- The close and collaborative working relationship between our designers and clients resulted in numerous transformative kitchen projects during the past year. Similarly, many of the emerging trends we shared in our look forward to 2023 (What to Expect: 2023 Kitchen Design Trends) were incorporated by our savvy clients in 2022. Some examples:
- Splashes of color: painting one of the cabinets – or the island – a distinctively different color, for example.
- Addition of patterns: wallpaper and unique tile are just two of the ways to achieve this emerging design trend.
- Oversized – and even double – islands to address the ever-growing need for space in the kitchen
- Hardware and drawer pulls increasingly became stylistic “statement pieces”
Custom Bathroom Projects
- Furthermore, we worked with many clients who were interested in either modernizing or completely renovating (or both!) their bathroom spaces. Achieving enhanced functionality as well as incorporating the latest sophisticated cabinetry and millwork design enhancements were the end result. Custom Outdoor Spaces
- Coupled with that: the importance of adding functional and high-end exterior spaces continued to grow in importance to many of our clients. Outdoor kitchens are the most commonly conceived outdoor projects, we have also custom designed, built and installed outdoor living rooms and theaters replete with weatherproof features and functionality to enable outdoor gatherings that never compromise elegance, comfort or functionality.
